Underfloor heating
Underfloor heating needs to be planned as part of the floor build-up. Insulation, pipe layout, controls and the final surface affect the complete system.
Plan the work as a whole.
Confirm floor levels, insulation, heat-loss requirements and the chosen finish before the installation is designed. Pipe testing and the screed or covering sequence should be agreed before the system is concealed.
Care at every interface.
KOSMOS coordinates floor preparation and heating installation with the wider refurbishment. The photographs show actual indoor floor-heating pipework, distinct from external garden drainage.

Questions before you build.
Can underfloor heating be added during renovation?
Often it can, but available floor depth, the existing structure and system requirements need to be checked before a build-up is specified.
Does the floor finish matter?
Yes. The proposed finish and its installation requirements should be considered when the heating system and floor layers are designed.
