KOSMOS / RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION

Heat pumps and solar systems

Energy upgrades should be considered alongside the building fabric and the way the home is used. Equipment alone does not determine the result.

Plan the work as a whole.

A suitable assessment should consider heat loss, electrical capacity, emitter temperatures, roof suitability and the proposed system. Specialist design, approvals and certification must be agreed for the particular installation.

Care at every interface.

KOSMOS can coordinate construction interfaces and access with appointed specialist installers. The related images below show insulation and service coordination, not a claimed completed heat-pump or solar installation.

Questions before you build.

Do you claim an energy-installation accreditation?

No accreditation is claimed here. Relevant specialist credentials and installation responsibilities must be verified as part of the agreed project scope.

Should insulation be considered first?

Building fabric and heat demand should be assessed alongside the proposed equipment, so that the system is appropriate to the home.
